As a nutritionist, allow me to be a resource for you every single time you need support for your body, every time you need advice for your health.
To me, food is preventative medicine. It is a part of my daily ritual that allows my medicine cabinet to lay empty. Preparing meals makes me feel connected to the process of growing, cultivating, preparing and sharing the food that serves so many purposes in the body. It has deepened my personal relationship with food and helped me feel a sense of control over many aspects of my health.
What I love most about food is the unique colors, textures, healing properties and history of how it got into my kitchen; I love that inside, food contains unique powers to heal (micro and phytonutrients) and communicate to the body’s innate processes. I love that it gives the body information and resources to heal itself. I believe that as we become more connected to the vast benefits that food can offer us, our ailments will diminish, our bodies with thrive, and we will find overall balance in mind/body/spirit connection.
Hi, I'm Anneliese Pyatt, Certified Nutrition Therapist. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver in 2007. During that time, I spent a year at the University of Cape Town and graduated with a BS in International Relations in 2011. After completing my undergraduate degree, I spent time traveling around Europe, Colorado and the Southwest US, where I discovered a love for farming and organic food.
Landing in Boulder in 2013, my personal health journey began to take root, and shortly after, I began pursuing a career in holistic nutrition at the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO. I became a Certified Nutrition Therapist and am working on my Master Nutrition Therapist certification, which I’ll complete in June of 2016.
In my spare time, I teach and practice yoga, spend time in the mountains with my dog, Poncho, and continue to travel as much as I can.
Some previous clients were kind enough to say a few words about our experience together. If you've been a client and have feedback for me, I'd love to hear it.
